Let’s face it, fashion is so much more fun when you’re not pregnant. I’m 38 weeks pregnant now and am dreaming of being back in my normal size (hoping that happens sooner rather than later). So I am already rounding up clothes that I want to get after I don’t have this massive belly. Well, not just clothes actually. Also a “few” pairs of shoes and bags… Here are some of my favorite things that I want to buy, (or send to my husband to get me for Christmas ;)). I think that you will love these pieces too! There is a mixture of inexpensive and pricier items which I always think is fun to mix and match!
I am in desperate need of some boots for fall land winter! I’m really loving the booties trend and unfortunately only have like one pair. Coach is really on top of their game with their booties this season! I’m also loving a lot of Steve Madden and Sam Edelman boots. I kind of need them all! Target is also serving us some looks lately. Target has really stepped up their game in the clothing department.
I am actually really digging the leopard trend too. I got a little too into leopard a few years ago, (I went way overboard with it). This season, I love seeing people using just a little pop of leopard like these cute little flats!
Coats and Jackets
I’m a huge sucker for any double breasted, trench, or military looking jacket. I just love how dramatic they look and the shapes they have (which I can not achieve with this giant belly… Hopefully I will be able to very soon)! I also really love some nice cozy and comfy jackets. That Burgundy North Face Jacket has been on my mind since I saw it at a store last winter. I ended up getting pregnant not long after and figured it would be pointless to buy since I was just going to get bigger. So I’ll probably pick it up once I know I will be able to zip it up!
Tops and Sweaters
Sweaters are just the best things ever. Don’t argue with me on this. I wish I could live my life in a loose fitted sweater and some skinny jeans or leggings. It’s my go to look when I’m not pregnant and I can’t wait to wear it again!
I’m kind of a bagaholic… I typically don’t but very expensive things, but I do occasionally splurge on a bag. I don’t own any bags that are like thousands of dollars or anything, but the slightly pricier bags I do own often cost more than my entire outfit put together. I think that I nice bag is worth the investment. Clothes rip and stain and get messy after they’re washed too much but a good quality leather bag will last you years and you’ll probably still be able to sell it after those years as well.
I hope you all enjoyed this quick little post and got some ideas for cute things to buy/wear for fall and winter!
