Tropical Daisies

It was actually freezing in Florida today so much so that I needed to wear a coat, but since i was expecting it to be, you know, Florida and all I didn’t pack any sweaters or coats…  I did pack this cute little knit cardigan that I thrifted from Goodwill a couple of years ago and it kept me somewhat warm throughout the day, (not at the beach though, the wind was too much for me).  I wanted to dress up a little bit today since I spent the last couple of days either lounging around the house or going out on the boat to the sand bar.  I wore one of my favorite dresses that I have that I found at Ross for under $20!  It is really cute and I think that it is quite flattering since in ties at the waist and flairs out a little giving board shaped ladies like me a slight appearance of an hour glass shape.  I really love the contrast of the bright white and yellow daisies on a black dress it just looks really fun and pops.  Since the dress has such a fun pattern I wanted it to be the center of attention so I paired it with simple nude heels and my diffuser necklace.  I also like my gold purse with it to add a touch of glam.

And I just had to share these pictures of my silly little guy!  Brayden is a handful with a lot of attitude but I am so happy that he is so full of personality and possesses such boldness that I never did as a child, (and still don’t haha).  He is not afraid to talk to anyone, some would probably say that he talks a little too much.   His bravery is astounding, he is always wanting to try new things (like try to jump of the side of boats with older kids and give his mom a heart attack). His confidence amazes (and annoys) me 😉 I know that he will never let anyone take advantage of him or make him feel like he can’t achieve something.  I admire this tiny human so much and wish that I was as fearless as he is.
