Press-on nails are the new wave in affordable beauty! I have been using Kiss Impress nails for years and am so happy to see them getting the recognition they deserve. Here are some tips on how I get my press-on nails to look good and stay on longer!
Manicure first!
I always give myself a good manicure before applying my press-on nails. I push back and cut my cuticles, clean the edges of my nails, trim, and file them. I’ve seen people just apply their press-on nails without trimming their cuticles and it makes the edges of the fake nails stick up a little and it becomes obvious that they are not professionally done. Giving yourself a good manicure first keeps your press-on nails from looking grown out and makes them adhere and look better.
Roughen Up Your Natural Nails
The Kiss Impress Nails come with a small file that I gently rub over my natural nails after manicuring them. It roughens the surface a bit to make the nails stick better.
Wipe Your Natural Nails With Alcohol
Nothing will ruin the adhesion of press-on nails faster than oils! So make sure you wipe your natural nails with rubbing alcohol to remove any oils that make affect adhesion.
Push Your Press-On Nails Against Your Cuticle
I make sure to push my fake nails back against the cuticle as close as I comfortable can. This prevents any gaps that make the nails look like obvious press-ons. It looks
