Grape Apes

Hello everyone!  I’m finally back with a fashion-ish post.  There have been some exciting new things going on lately, (I decided to double major and found out that I will still be graduating at least one year early, my family finally moved to North Carolina, I just finished up my summer classes, etc.) and one of the most exciting things is starting a business!  The business that I have started is rooted in my aspirations to work in conservation and/or medicine as a primatologist.  My business is called Grape Apes, (like great apes… get it? No?  Well I think it’s funny).  I am working alongside my mother (who basically came up with the name so I can’t take credit for that), and my husband.  10% of Grape Ape’s net profits will be donated directly to The Dian Fossey Gorillas Fund to aid in the protection and conservation of gorillas.  They are such beautiful and intelligent creatures that are severely endangered due to poaching, the bush meat trade, and environmental degradation.  We have started with four different colors of shirt and are in the process of introducing new styles and colors.  Also be on the lookout for mugs and sweaters this fall (#muglove #sweaterweather)!  You can check out our website here, and be sure to subscribe to our mailing list to be the first to know about new releases, sales, giveaways, and events!  We are currently having an Instagram giveaway, so you can head on over to our Instagram @grapeapesapparel to see the rules to enter!
